Dr. Tavera-Mendoza, former member of the Center for Functional Cancer Epigenetics at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute , had commissioned me to make an illustration for a scientific publication on a less invasive technique for mammary gland surgeries on lab mice. The end goal of this illustration was to convey a lot of information in a clear and concise manner. I found the development process of this commission to be an interesting challenge, as the project’s constraints are fairly different from most projects I have done so far.
